Home School Agreement 

 At Callicroft Primary Academy, we believe in the importance of a strong partnership between home and school. Trust is the foundation of our relationship with parents, and we are committed to working together to support the education and well-being of your child. We encourage open communication and collaboration, ensuring that every child thrives in a nurturing environment. Together, we can create a positive and enriching experience for all our students.

The Home and School Agreement is an important document which outlines everyones important role in achieving a successful school. Please read the agreement and sign the attached form. Thank you for your support.

 The school will:

  • Ensure that each and every pupil has the opportunities, support and guidance to meet their full potential.
  • Use our Successful Learners Gem Powers to promote life-long learners.
  • Provide a caring environment where everyone is Safe, Ready and Respectful.
  • Follow the behaviour policy consistently and fairly for all pupils.
  • Support and promote appropriate Self-Regulation strategies
  • Keep parents and carers updated on their child’s behaviour, progress and general school matters through a schedule of parent consultations and reports, and in line with our behaviour policy and systems.
  • Provide regular home learning in the form of reading and core number skill practice and spellings.
  • Take necessary action to ensure the attendance and punctuality of all pupils is high.
  • Up-hold high standards of uniform as defined in the uniform policy.

 

Parents and Families will:

  • Have a positive attitude towards education and the school.
  • Support the school’s attendance policy and make every effort to ensure your child attends school every day and on time.
  • Treat other children, parents and staff with respect.
  • Support the school’s behaviour policy encouraging your child to be Ready, Safe and Respectful in school and at home and support in the completion of any follow up work.
  • Support and promote appropriate Self-Regulation strategies
  • Support your child to follow the school’s Successful Learners and Behaviour policy by trying their best every day:
  • - Use our Emerald Power by being Courageous
  • - Use our Topaz Power by showing Friendship
  • - Use our Sapphire Power by showing Excellence
  • - Use our Ruby Power by being Respectful
  • - Use our Diamond Power by Persevering
  • - Use our Amethyst Power by being Honest.
  • Keep up-to-date with school correspondence e.g. newsletter, texts, emails, website, Seesaw and attend parent consultation meetings.
  • Support your child with their home learning.
  • Ensure your child wears the correct school uniform and PE kit every day.
  • Maintain open communication with the school and share concerns in an appropriate way with the school first.

 

Pupils will:

  • Come to school with a positive attitude being Ready, Respectful and Safe.
